Description
Verdant Dream Ring
The Verdant Dream ring is a tribute to the harmony of nature and fine jewelry. At its center shines an intensely green tourmaline, whose color evokes the depth of forest tones and the soothing freshness of nature. On either side of the stone are set lab-grown baguette-cut diamonds, adding a subtle architecture of light — their clean lines enhance the richness of the tourmaline and bring refined symmetry to the composition.
The piece is crafted in 14k yellow gold, whose warm glow beautifully complements the vivid green of the stone, creating an effect of elegance and timeless style.
Verdant Dream is a ring for those who appreciate jewelry rich in symbolism — a union of nature, light, and a dream captured in gold.

Lab-Grown Diamonds

Lab-grown diamonds are gemstones created by humans in controlled laboratory conditions using advanced technologies. Their formation process replicates the natural conditions under which diamonds develop beneath the Earth’s surface, including high pressure and temperature.

They possess the same chemical, physical, and optical properties as natural diamonds, but are more environmentally friendly and ethical, as their production eliminates the need for mining, which can be associated with negative social and environmental impacts.

Lab-grown diamonds are not only an ethical and sustainable choice, but also more affordable compared to natural diamonds.

Gold Purity

Gold purity indicates the amount of pure gold in the alloy used to create a piece of jewelry. It is measured in karats (K) or as a percentage (%).

The most common gold purities in jewelry are:

  • 999 / 24K – 99.9% pure gold, the highest possible purity

  • 960 / 23K – 96% gold

  • 750 / 18K – 75% gold, one of the most popular choices in luxury jewelry

  • 585 / 14K – 58.5% gold, widely used in countries such as the United States, Canada, Australia, and Poland

  • 500 / 12K – 50% gold

  • 375 / 9K – 37.5% gold, less common, used mainly in more affordable jewelry

  • 333 / 8K – 33.3% gold, the minimum legal standard in Poland

Please note that gold purity standards may vary slightly depending on the country and local regulations. Most fine jewelry is crafted in higher purities such as 18K or 14K, as they offer an ideal balance between durability and gold content.

Jewelry made from higher purities like 18K and 14K contains more pure gold, which contributes to its value and longevity. However, the final choice depends on individual preferences and budget — lower purities are more affordable but may be less durable and more prone to wear over time.

Care

To keep your jewellery beautiful and shiny for longer:

  • store it in a dry place, preferably in separate pouches to avoid scratches,
  • take it off before applying perfume or cosmetics, before cleaning and before swimming in a pool or the sea,
  • clean it with a soft cloth, avoiding harsh cleaning agents.

Silver naturally tarnishes due to humidity and sulphur compounds; this is reversible with a silver-cleaning cloth. Gold plating wears gradually with everyday use, and gentle care significantly extends its durability.

About Me

My name is Marlena Masiejczyk, and I am the founder and Creative Director of Sen Jewelry. I am a jewelry designer and a certified expert of the GIA and HRD Institutes in Antwerp, with over 20 years of experience in the international world of fashion and design. I have had the pleasure of working with icons of haute couture such as Louis Vuitton, Valentino, Fendi, Dior, and Ralph Lauren, as well as for prestigious magazines including ELLE, Cosmopolitan, Women’s Health, and Glamour.

The aesthetic of my work is shaped by the richness of experiences gathered in New York, London, Milan, and across Asia. I combine gemstone expertise, intuitive design, and emotional storytelling to create jewelry with exceptional character and artistic depth.

My Journey

My passion for jewelry was born in childhood. As a little girl, I loved exploring jewelry boxes in search of sparkling treasures that I admired and tried on for hours. From school trips to museums, through modeling projects, to my first encounters with gemstones — jewelry has always been the fulfillment of my dreams.

After years in the fashion and modeling world, the moment came to close that chapter and fully devote myself to my childhood dream: creating jewelry. I moved to Indonesia, where I began working with one of the most prestigious jewelry companies.

There, I refined my design skills and deepened my knowledge of production, diamonds, and natural gemstones. During this time, I earned my certification from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). It was there that the idea for Sen was born — jewelry filled with emotion, connecting my passion, personal stories, experience, and artistic imagination.

After six years of intensive work in the Asian jewelry industry, I returned to Poland. I completed the School of Goldsmithing in Warsaw and later obtained the Diamond Grader Certificate from the renowned HRD laboratory in Antwerp.
